CCC Goaltender of the Week: Tony Rehm

Rehm posted 100 shutout minutes in net for the Seahawks during a 2-0 weekend.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University sophomore Tony Rehm as its Goaltender of the Week for men's ice hockey (November 11 - November 17).

Rehm was stellar in net over the weekend, posting a shutout in the Friday (Nov. 15) contest and playing two scoreless periods on Saturday (Nov. 16) against Western New England. Rehm had 28 saves in the 3-0 win on Friday and another five saves in the 7-0 victory Saturday contest before exiting prior to the third period.

"I am extremely happy for Tony and the success he had over the weekend," said head coach Zech Klann. "He has worked extremely hard and has been very patient over the last year. He has been a lot of fun to work with this year and I look forward to seeing him build on his success."

Salve Regina (5-0-0; 4-0-0 CCC) returns to action on Friday, November 22, when the team travels to face Wentworth in another CCC matchup.
