INSIDE THE SERIES
Salve Regina owns a 7-2 record in the all-time series versus Endicott and has won the last four meetings. The Seahawks and Gulls have only met once previously in the playoffs, the 2016 ECAC Northeast championship. The Seahawks topped the Gulls 4-0 in that game, spoiling the Gulls' inaugural season. The road team won the first six meetings, playoffs included until the Seahawks topped the Gulls 5-1 last season in Portsmouth, R.I. The Gulls last win in the series, 9-1 on January 28, 2017, is the worst loss for the Seahawks in the past three seasons, and the eight-goal differential is tied for the worst loss in the last eight seasons. Since that game both teams have experienced great success. Salve Regina has gone 42-14-6 including a run to the NCAA Championship game last season while the Gulls have gone 44-15-5 since then, claiming a conference title and making an NCAA quarterfinal.
