NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior netminder Blake Wojtala (Trenton, Mich.) was named Goaltender of the Year while defensemen Matthew Dillon (Grafton, Mass.) took home Rookie of the Year honors and four other Seahawks made the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference team.

Voting for the All-CCC Teams and major awards was conducted by the eight CCC men's ice hockey head coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.

Wojtala picks up his second-consecutive Goaltender of the Year honor after earning a league-best 16 wins. He finished third in the CCC in both goals against average (2.56) and save percentage (.915). He made 30-plus saves nine times, including a 59 save showing against Endicott on Nov. 16, which is tied for fifth for the most saves in a single contest this year in NCAA Division III. Wojtala was named the CCC Goaltender of the Week three times during the weeks ending Nov. 18, Nov. 25, and Feb. 3.

Dillon put together a strong season for Salve Regina patrolling the blue line and picking up 21 points. Twenty of those points were assists, which ranked him seventh in the CCC in the category. He currently ranks 17th in NCAA Division III in points per game for freshmen and defensemen at 0.88. He had three multi-point games, including a four-point game against Curry in which he scored his only goal of the season.

Vincenzo Renda (Wesmount, Quebec) makes his second straight All-CCC squad in his sophomroe season, being named to the first team. He posted five goals and 19 assists for 24 total points. He ranks second in the CCC and seventh in the Nation in points per game for defenseman.

Danny Eruzione (Winthrop, Mass.) makes his second consecutive All-CCC team as well in his sophomore campaign, being named a second team forward. Eruzione logged 13 goals and 24 assists for 37 total points, surpassing his mark of 35 points last season. He was the fourth highest scoring player in the CCC and is 10th in the nation in points per game.

Nick Cyr (Mount Laurel, N.J.), a senior captain, makes his third All-CCC squad, being named a second team defenseman. Cyr scored three times and dished out 12 assists during the regular season. His +11 mark is tied for the best on the Seahawks squad. Cyr appeared in every game this season and has played 110 games in his Salve Regina career, setting a new program record for games played.

Paul Boutoussov (Dana Point, Calif.) makes his first All-CCC team and was named a third team forward. He led the Seahawks in goal scoring, lighting the lamp 19 times, a new career-high. He scored the second-most goals in the CCC and is tied for the most powerplay goals (6).

Salve Regina (17-6-2, 13-3-1) will play the lowest remaining seed in the CCC playoffs in the semifinals this Saturday, February 23, after Wednesday's quarterfinal action.
