NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team has been ranked 13th in the nation by USCHO.com and 14th by D3hockey.com in the latest poll.

The Seahawks wrapped up their regular season on a six-game win streak, capped by beating University of New England 2-1 this past Saturday to leapfrog the Nor'easters in the polls and into the top spot in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

Salve Regina (17-6-2, 13-3-1) will play the lowest remaining seed in the CCC playoffs in the semifinals this Saturday, February 23, after Wednesday's quarterfinal action.
