  • Salve Regina and Johnson and Wales meet meet for the 24th time in program history.
  • The Wildcats hold a 16-7 all time series lead over the Seahawks. 
  • The Seahawks swept the season series against the Wildcats last year for their first win in the series since the 2006-07 season. 
  • Last time the two teams met, SRU defeated the Johnson & Wales 7-6 in overtime in Providence on Jan. 30, 2013 
  • The Seahawks and Wildcats will square off at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence for the first time in series history.
  • In his career, sophomore Cameron Gaudet has six points against the Wildcats, including his first career hattrick in the first meeting between the two teams last season.

  • Juniors Scott McMenimenJohn Scorcia, and senior Alex Barr will handle the duties as captains this season. McMenimen and Scorcia are in their second year with a "C" on their jerseys while this is the first season for Barr. 
  • Senior David Watkins joins McMenimen, Scorcia and Barr as a captain for the remainder of the year.

ECAC NORTHEAST PRESEASON POLL
  • Salve Regina ranks second in the 2013-14 Eastern College Athletic Association (ECAC) Northeast preseason coaches' poll (54 points).
  • The Seahawks finished last year with a 5-7-2 mark in the conference to earn a No. 5 seed.
  • After defeating No. 4 Western New England in the opening round of the conference tournament, the Seahawks went on to upset No. 2 Nichols before falling to No. 1 Wentworth in the conference title game.
COACHES' CORNER
  • Salve Regina head coach Andy Boschetto enters his fourth season at the helm of the Seahawks.
  • He led the team to the ECAC Northeast playoffs for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
  • The 10 regular season wins last year are the most for the team since the 2007-08 season.
  • Boschetto was honored as Co-Coach of the Year by the ECAC Northeast last season.
RECORD BOOK CHECK
  • Junior John Scorcia ranks fourth all time at Salve Regina with 46 assists so far in his career.
  • The junior is currently tied for fourth in points in a career at SRU with 72, tied with Mike Mallette (2002-05).
  • Scorcia is tied for secod in shorthanded goals (4) in a career as a Seahawk.
