NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University graduate student Kevin Kelly (Valhalla N.Y.) as its Player of the Week for men's basketball.

CCC Player of the Week - Kelly contributed 22 points and seven rebounds to the Seahawks 80-65 victory over Connecticut College on Tuesday (Nov. 23), extending the team's winning streak to four. Kelly shot 7-for-11 (63.6 percent) from the field and also pitched in six assists. The graduate student also had two steals in the game.

Salve Regina (4-2) returns to action Wednesday, December 1, with a home game versus Nichols in a CCC matchup at the Rodgers Recreation Center at 7:30 p.m.
