2020-21 NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Tuesday, July 20, 2021) -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced the 2020-21 NABC Honors Court, recognizing more than 1,350 men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. Salve Regina University men's basketball has once again earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award and the Seahawks had seven players qualify for the NABC Honors Court.

Quote from head coach Sean Foster '97"I could not be more proud of our seven upperclassmen and their outstanding academic achievement of the NABC Honors Court. These student-athletes set the tone for our group in a variety of majors by prioritizing a high level of consistent academic focus throughout a challenging year. They have exhibited tremendous leadership on campus, in the classroom and on the basketball court under difficult circumstances. They are fantastic examples for our underclassmen of what being a Seahawk Men's Basketball player is all about. The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award is an outstanding honor and is the result of the dedication all of our players have put into their academic pursuits all year; especially through adversity. Our group has prioritized the mission of Salve Regina University within the community, on the court and in the classroom and I'm excited to see their future growth on and off the court."

The NABC Honors Court highlights the talents and gifts that these men possess on the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
