CCC Rookie of the Week: Mikey Spencer

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Mikey Spencer (Abington, Mass.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's basketball (Jan. 28 - Feb. 3).

Rookie of the Week - Spencer averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in two games for Salve Regina. His biggest game of the week was dropping game-high 25 points on 10-for-19 (52.6 percent) shooting, including five three-pointers. He also had eight rebounds in that contest. Overall for the week, Spencer shot 48.1 percent (13-for-27).

Salve Regina (8-14, 4-9 CCC) returns to conference action when it hosts Wetern New England University on Tuesday, February 5 (7:30 p.m.).
