SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 4, 2019) - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University senior Ashley Cody (Pawling, N.Y.) as its Offensive Player of the Week for field hockey (Oct. 28 - Nov. 3).

Offensive Player of the Week - Cody led her team to a 2-0 week with two big conference wins. Cody tallied eight points to aid the Seahawks to two road wins and clinch the No. 3 seed in the CCC Tournament. She had two goals and two assists in a 4-3 win over Nichols, and the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Roger Williams. The senior continues to lead the league in goals, assists, and points.

With the No. 3 seed, Salve Regina (12-6, 7-5 CCC) earned a bye to the semifinals and will travel to Biddeford, Maine, on Thursday to face No. 2 University of New England.
