NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University senior Abigail Tepper (Foxboro, Mass.) as its offensive player of the week for field hockey (October 5 -11) for the third consecutive week.

Offensive Player of the Week - Tepper collected 10 points on four goals and two assists in a pair of CCC road victories. Tepper became Salve's all-time leading goal scorer with a pair of goals in a 5-0 shutout of Western New England, snapping a mark that had stood since 2007. Tepper followed with a strong two-goal, two-assist effort in a 5-4 triumph at Endicott. The two wins improved the Seahawks' record to 6-1 in CCC play.

Tepper ranks third in the country among Division III players in goals per game (1.58) while the Seahawks rank second overall (5.00) behind only Rhodes (5.38). [http://www.ncaa.com/stats/fieldhockey/d3]
