After the Bison held the ball for half of the first quarter they walked away empty handed on a missed field goal after a 16-play 67 yard drive. The Seahawks only needed one play to find the endzone when Basil hit senior Chris Caron (Northford, Conn.) over the middle for a 71 yard touchdown on a catch and run. The Bison would tie the game 7-7 but again the Seahawks only took two plays to go 75 yards. This time David Mavilia (Scituate, Mass.) scampered 54 yards to the endzone to put the Seahawks up 14-7, setting the tone for the day that the Bison would control time of possession, but could not keep up with the Seahawks big plays.
