Summary
Senior Sam Pascale (Cheshire, Conn.) carried 21 times for 226 yards and four touchdowns and junior James Dawson (Oradell, N.J.) had 203 total yards and two touchdowns leading Salve Regina to a 48-10 win over Coast Guard in the New England Football Conference (NEFC) opener for both teams.

  • Sophomore Ethan Goldcamp (Morgantown, W.V.) (10 of 22, 65 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) replaced Victory on the first possession of the second quarter with the Bears trailing 35-0 and played the remainder of the first half and returned in the fourth quarter.
  • Coast Guard got on the board when freshman Patrick Crowley (San Marino, Calif.) booted his first career field goal, a 26-yarder, with 8:42 left in the third quarter. The score was set up when freshman Michael Goldsworthy (Jamison, Pa.) recovered a fumbled punt at the Salve 26-yard line.
  • Goldcamp threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to junior Darius Adams (Nassau, Bahamas) and Crowley added the extra point making the score 48-10 with 11:46 left.
