NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina senior offensive lineman Daniel Kehew (Portsmouth, R.I.) has been selected to participate in the 2012 FCS Division Senior Scout Bowl presented by The Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL). The third annual North v. South Senior Scout Bowl will be played on Saturday, December 15 at Doug Shaw Stadium (5 p.m.) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

This game was created to showcase the top FCS Division football players in the nation for NFL scouts and fans. Kehew is among a total of just 91 players across the country to be selected, as well as one of just 47 student-athletes to be named to the FCS North Team.

Kehew garnered his invitation after helping to lead the Seahawks to their first New England Football Conference (NEFC) Boyd Division title since the year 2000. As a result of his outstanding play, the senior captain was named to the NEFC All-Boyd Division First Team, marking the second consecutive season he earned all-division honors.

Prior to competing in the bowl game on Saturday, Kehew will take part in a double session practice and personal workout for NFL scouts on Friday. Following the day's workouts, Kehew will attend the FCS Senior Scout Bowl Banquet at the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel where he will be recognized and presented with his game jersey (#55) as part of a media presentation.

For those interested in attending the game, tickets can be purchased at Ticketleap.com. The tickets are $10 for general admission adults and $5 for students (under 18). Passes to watch the game from the sideline and be close to the action are also available for purchase here. Tickets for the banquet are $49 and must be purchased in advance through this link.

For those who are unable to attend the event, but would still like to watch Kehew participate, a live feed of the Senior Scout Bowl will be available via Ustream.
