Bio

Salvo was a four-year starter at catcher and first base for Fairfield University where he broke a school record for having 441 straight chances without committing an error.

He was one of seven Stags all-time to finish a season without an error (min. 75 chances). He ranked second in the country in 2015 for most chances without an error and graduated first in career fielding percentage (.991).

Salvo played summer ball with both the New Bedford Bay Sox of the NECBL and the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League during his college career. Salvo was named to the Fairfield University All-Decade Baseball Team for 2010-20.

Most recently Salvo served as assistant coach for Durfee High School varsity baseball in his hometown of Fall River, Massachusetts.

In addition to his responsibilities at Salve Regina, Salvo is a coach and instructor for the Bay Sox Baseball travel program.
