Summary
NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University baseball team swept No. 16/22 ranked Endicott College, overcoming early deficits in each game, ending a 17-game win streak for the visitors, while claiming the top spot of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) in the regular season finale Friday afternoon.

Series and Streaks
The Seahawks improve to 35-29 all-time versus the Gulls and have won 12 of the last 14 in the series.

Turning Points
In Game 1 the Gulls carried a 2-0 lead into the eighth inning before a two-run single from Dylan Ketch tied the game. Andrew Roman came on in the ninth and struck out all three batters he faced setting up the Seahawks and Chris Veneruso for a walk-off single and the 3-2 victory, snapping the Gulls' 17-game win streak and dealing them their first loss in CCC play.

In Game 2 the story was rather similar. This time the Gulls led 2-0 through six then tacked on three more in the top of the seventh on a home-run from John Mulready. In the bottom of the frame the Seahawks first two batters failed to reach then the Seahawks found a little two-out magic. The next two batters walked before two doubles, two base hits, and an error aided a 6-0 scoring spree to give the Seahawks the lead. From there Zach Lopez and Graham Jefferies combined to shutout the Gulls and Roman once again closed the door in the top of the ninth to deliver the Seahawks the sweep.
