NEWPORT, R.I. (January 7, 2022) - Five Seahawks featured in latest edition of Collegiate Baseball Newspaper include three lefty starters - Joe Escandon (Allenhust, N.J.), Patrick Maybach (Saunderstown, R.I.), Dominic Perachi (Washington Depot, Conn.) - a righty reliever - Andrew Roman (Monson, Mass.) - and a second-year outfielder - Brandon Grover (Ashland, Mass.).

The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper NCAA Division III Players to Watch list is chosen by all NCAA Division III coaches from across the country and compiled by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

Along with the individual honors, Salve Regina University also earned a Top-25 spot in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top-40 poll. The Seahawks open their 2022 campaign hosting the University of Southern Maine on Saturday, February 26 (11 a.m. | 2 p.m.).
