CCC Player of the Week: Madden Ward

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 2, 2020) - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University junior Madden Ward (Clinton, Conn.) as its Player of the Week for baseball (Feb. 24 - Mar. 1).

Player of the Week - Ward collected three hits and reached base five times out of the leadoff spot in Salve's 13-0 opening day victory over Fitchburg State. Ward tallied a double, a triple, a run batted in and three runs scored. In the field, Ward was perfect in four fielding chances at the shortstop position.

Salve Regina (1-0) next travels to Arcadia, Pa., for a two-game slate with Arcadia (Fri., March 6) and Oswego (Sat., March 7).
