CCC Rookie of the Week: Tyler Cannoe

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 2, 2020) - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Tyler Cannoe (Schenectady, N.Y.) as its Rookie of the Week for baseball (Feb. 24 - Mar. 1).

Rookie of the Week - Cannoe enjoyed a perfect day at the plate and in the field in his collegiate debut. In a 13-0 triumph over Fitchburg State, Cannoe went 2-for-2 with one walk, two runs batted in, four runs scored, and a sacrifice fly. At the first base position, Cannoe handled all eight of his fielding chances successfully.

Salve Regina (1-0) next travels to Arcadia, Pa., for a two-game slate with Arcadia (Fri., March 6) and Oswego (Sat., March 7).
