Smith earns CoSIDA Academic All-District® recognition

NEWPORT, R.I. (May 9, 2019) -- Salve Regina University baseball senior Zack Smith (New Canaan, Conn.) earned a selection to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) All-District® Team.

Smith, recently honored as the Baseball Player of the Year in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), now advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot where first, second and third team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.

The Seahawks have advanced to the CCC Championship Series for the fourth straight season and will play at Roger Williams this weekend.
