Maybach named rookie of the region; joins Vargas on D3Baseball.com all-region team
NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University pitcher Patrick Maybach (Saunderstown, R.I.) earned Rookie of the Year honors for the All-New England team announced by D3Baseball.com, and was joined on the all-region team by fellow Seahawk catcher Christian Vargas (Melbourne, Fla.).
