Seahawk baseball one win away from conference final

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University baseball (23-16) advances to The Commonwealth Coast Conference bracket final on Saturday, May 1, and the Seahawks will play against fourth-seed Wentworth at Northeastern University's Parsons Field (11 a.m.). The Seahawks need just one win to advance to the TCCC final (Sunday, May 2 @ 1 p.m.) for the first time since 2006.

The Leopards, who lost 14-6 earlier in the tournament to Salve Regina, advanced out of the losers' bracket with a 16-14 win over top-seeded Curry College on Friday in Milton. Wentworth needs to win a pair of games against the Seahawks on Saturday to advance to the TCCC final.
