WENHAM, Mass. – Maddie Mildrum (Hingham, Mass.) led Salve Regina to a fourth-place finish in the Pop Crowell Invitational on Saturday, making her mark on program history along the way.

Mildrum placed seventh in the field of 99 runners, completing the 6,000-meter course at Gordon College in a personal-best 24:38.9. That time was fast enough for the junior to earn her first entry on Salve Regina's all-time performance list for 6K, which includes all marks of 24:45 or faster over the championship distance. Mildrum is now the twenty-fifth fastest Seahawk of all time.

Junior Heather McKee (Churchton, Md.), senior captain Izabella Kuczorski (Simsbury, Conn.), junior Olivia Forbes (North Attleboro, Mass.) and sophomore Avery Braccia (Bristol, Conn.) completed the scoring for Salve Regina. All four also posted personal-best times for 6K.

The University of New England placed three runners – Nina Parziale, Kelsee Gladu and Morgan Fecteau – inside the top 10 en route to winning the team title with a score of 51. Just five points separated the next three teams, with Gordon (74), Endicott (75) and Salve Regina (79) finishing second, third and fourth. There were nine complete teams and 14 programs represented in the meet.
