(February 28, 2024) – The NEWMAC and FloSports, a global independent sports media company and streaming platform, today announced a historic five-year media rights agreement under which FloSports will become the exclusive media partner of the NEWMAC beginning in the 2024-2025 academic year.

NEWPORT, R.I. (January 30, 2024) – Salve Regina University has landed 77 student-athletes on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference teams for seven different sports last fall.

NEWPORT, R.I.-- (Tuesday, December 12, 2023) -- Salve Regina University's Siena DeCicco, Kate Murphy, Sydney Ramsey and Brighton Solheim earned sports on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Volleyball Academic All-District® Team. To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District® honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a sophomore or above, and a starter or significant reserve.

NEWPORT, R.I. (November 6, 2023) – Last Friday and Saturday the Seahawks won all six contests that were on the calendar. Women's volleyball picked up their first NEWMAC win against the Emerson Lions, men's ice hockey and women's ice hockey bested the Suffolk Rams in all four of the home-and-away series games, and Football dominated SUNY Maritime 49-0. This week the Seahawks have three home games out of ten total contests.

Seahawks earn first NEWMAC win on senior day

NEWPORT, R.I.-- The Seahawks celebrated senior day by honoring the class of 2024. Sydney Ramsey, a middle hitter from Garden City, New York and Brighton Solheim, an outside hitter and opposite from Phoenix, Arizona are the program's two seniors.

NEWPORT, R.I.-- Women's volleyball engaged in a high-energy match against No. 1 in the NEWMAC, Springfield College. The Pride defeated the Seahawks 3-0, moving to 10-0 in the conference.

NEWPORT, R.I. (October 30, 2023) – Last week was the end of the regular season for several Seahawk sports and with that, the women's soccer, men's soccer and field hockey seasons came to a close. It was an exciting year featuring a slate of new rivals in the NEWMAC conference.

Seahawks best Westfield St. 3-0 but fall to Plymouth St. 3-2

PLYMOUTH, NH. -- Salve Regina traveled to a nonconference tri-match Saturday and won the first match of the day 3-0 against Westfield State University. In game two, the Seahawks battled with Plymouth State University, but the Panthers endurance propelled them to a 3-2 win.

Seahawks bounce back, Lyons pull ahead 3-2

NEWPORT, R.I.-- Salve Regina women's volleyball came back from a 2-0 deficit against Wheaton College, however the Lyons efforts in the fifth set put them ahead for a final score of 3-2 Tuesday night.

Cardinals swoop past Seahawks

NEWPORT, R.I.-- The Salve Regina women's volleyball team challenged Wesleyan University (NESCAC) at the Rodgers Recreation Center Friday night, but fell 3-0 with a final score of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-19.
