Cameron Baston - NEWMAC Co-Defensive Athlete of the Week // Feb. 26-Mar. 3

WESTWOOD, Mass. (Monday, March 4, 2024) – Junior women's lacrosse defender Cameron Baston has been named Co-Defensive Athlete of the Week by the NEWMAC for the week ending March 3. 

Baston scored twice and provided one assist when the Seahawks snatched a 13-12 victory over Emmanuel College last week. She caused two turnovers along with four draw controls in the encounter.

"I'm so proud of Cam for earning Co-Defensive Athlete of the Week," said head coach Meg Malloy. "She is a very talented defender and worked incredibly hard in our game last week. Well deserved!"

Over the course of her career at Salve Regina Baston has appeared in 33 games, scored 34 goals and provided 24 assists. She is credited with 47 ground balls, 56 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers.
