Four named captains for women's lacrosse in 2023

NEWPORT, R.I. - Four captains have been named for women's lacrosse in 2023 as announced by head coach Jessica Trautman.

Julia Govoni, Breah Healey, Kelly Ventura, and Gabriella Von Beren will lead the Seahawks this upcoming season.

"I have an awesome feeling about this upcoming season and am very fortunate to have four fantastic captains to help lead me into my first season at Salve," said Trautman. "I would like to thank Bill Villareal for handing over his program to me and giving me the opportunity to coach this team. I have big plans for these girls and cannot wait to step on the field this spring."

Salve Regina begins the 2023 season on road versus the United States Coast Guard Academy on February 22.
