CCC Rookie of the Week: Livia Krzywulak

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman goalie Livia Krzywulak (Felton, Pa.) as its Rookie of the Week for women's ice hockey.

Krzywulak had a very memorable collegiate debut for Salve Regina this week. The first-year goaltender picked up her first collegiate victory and first career shutout, denying all 22 Anna Maria chances on Saturday (Nov. 26). The Seahawks picked up a 2-0 non-conference victory.

"Livia has shown good improvement this season," said head coach David Lun. "Her commitment to coming to the rink and working off the ice has paid off. I'm excited to see her get this recognition and watch her career grow."

Salve Regina (3-5-0, 0-4-0 CCC) travels to face Curry College in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup on Friday, December 2, at 7 p.m.
