Seahawk men's cross country races at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.-- Salve Regina men's cross country competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Sunday after Saturday's weather conditions were too poor to race in. Nevertheless, the Seahawks saw some personal bests and didn't let Saturday's weather slow them down.

Senior Shane Behn was the top finisher for the Seahawks and junior Ty Gallagher saw a 30 second personal best for a second place team finish. Both the men's cross country team and the women's cross country team made the trip to the race, with the men racing an 8k distance and the women racing 5k.

Salve Regina finished 34th out of 39 teams, with the top five finishers being Boston College (1), Stonehill College (2), UMass Lowell (3), Merrimack College (4) and Franklin Pierce University (5).
