Salve Regina runs at Williams
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Salve Regina University cross country teams competed at the ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Williams College.
"It was a good finish of the season for our second seven runners," said assistant coach Matt Hird. "Williams has a tough, hilly, course, but with adjustments for the difficulty, we ran roughly as well as we did in TCCC championship the previous week, which is a great sign since that was the meet for which we were all aiming and a one point loss might have left some a little drained. Kelsey Windisch [Ridgefield, Conn.] ran a great race running an almost identical time to what she ran last week on a course which can run almost a minute shower than the WNEC layout. The fact that she was unfazed by the challenging course bodes well for the future."
