Pipers prevail in 7-2 performance, Seahawks succumb

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Tuesday, March 12, 2024) -Seahawk men's tennis was defeated 7-2 by the Hamline University Pipers, however not without two Salve Regina successes in the singles category.

Hamline posted three wins straight across in doubles action, although Alexander Colon (Brielle, N.J.) and Samuel Middleton (Lake Grove, N.Y.) put up a fight, falling 8-5. Two Seahawk athletes won singles matches. Middleton won 6-1 and 6-2 in two sets and Ned Batstone (Abingdon, England) added another 13-11 victory.

All-Time History: On March 15, 2023, the Pipers and Seahawks met in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The encounter resulted in a 6-3 win for the Pipers.
