Beacons' long distance difference in win over Seahawks

BOSTON, Mass. -- Salve Regina University men's basketball (1-1) equaled the Beacons of UMass Boston (1-1) in field goals made (25) and had one more free-throw made (7-6), but the hosts doubled the Seahawks in 3-pointers made (10-5) to win by four, 66-62, at the Clark Athletic Center.

Junior captain Declan Walmsley (Franklin, Mass.) led four Seahawks in double figures with 16 points on 7-of-11 from the floor including two 3-pointers.
