Cecelia Negron joins the Salve Regina field hockey program as an assistant coach.

Negron graduated from Wellesley College in 2019 and was a four-year starter as well as a two-time team captain, First-Team All-NEWMAC and Second-Team All-Region selection. After graduating, she moved home to Richmond, Virginia, where she coached club for ages U10-U19 as well as junior varsity lacrosse. In the summer of 2021 she moved to Newport where she now serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions, Marketing and Communications at Salve Regina.
