NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University football team never trailed and put up its best offensive performance of the season in a 42-21 victory over Nichols College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday at Toppa Field.

  • The 42 points in the highest total in a game for the Seahawks this season.
  • Jack Zingaro and Zach Letellier each posted six tackles to lead Salve's defense.
  • Conor Foley picked off a pass and Garrett McCarthy broke up three passes on the day.
