  • This is the fourth meeting between the Seahawks and the Bears.
  • Salve Regina still trails all-time in the series 1-2, but is undefeated at home against the Red Hawks.
  • Salve Regina won 16-7 on September 8, 2012 in the only game played at Gaudet Field in the series. 
  • The three previous games have all been closely contested matchups
  • Salve Regina lost 18-7 in 2011, won 16-7 in 2012, and lost again in 2013 by a score of 17-16 on a failed 2pt conversion.
  • In last seasons matchup the Seahawks trailed  17-10 before Dan Buonocore (Mahwah, N.J.) scored a touchdown with :02 seconds left in regulation on a pass from quarterback Steve Wilken (Ringwood, N.J.), however Wilken's next pass on a 2pt conversion attempt was broken up by the Red Hawks defense and the score stood 17-16.
