WEDNESDAY (Nov. 8)

Women's basketball will begin their season on Wednesday against Johnson & Wales at 7 p.m. Last year Salve Regina went 16-10 overall and 11-7 in-conference. In all-time series history Salve Regina is 6-2 against Johnson & Wales. The last time they met in 2022, Salve Regina won 70-55.

FRIDAY (NOV. 10)

Women's ice hockey will travel to New Haven, Connecticut on Friday to face Albertus Magnus College at 7 p.m. The Seahawks started out the season with three wins. On opening day Salve Regina beat Johnson & Wales 4-1. Last weekend the Seahawks defeated the Suffolk Rams 2-0 on Friday and 4-3 on Saturday. Maddie Cox and Fiona Simcox were the two Salve Regina scorers in the shutout game.

On Friday the men's ice hockey team also has an away contest. The men will be in Boston, Massachusetts taking on Wentworth Institute of Technology at 7 p.m. Last week the team had a 5-2 victory on Friday and an 8-3 success on Saturday, both against Suffolk. Although Suffolk scored first during both games Salve Regina rallied and earned wins. On Friday, Logan Calder got the Seahawks on the board and on Saturday it was Aidan Coupe who scored consecutively, giving the team their first points of the day.

SATURDAY (NOV. 11)

Equestrian starts off the day in Ashaway, Rhode Island at a show hosted by the University of Rhode Island at Hunter Ridge.

After a week with no competition the women's cross country and men's cross country teams will travel to Westfield, Massachusetts for the NCAA Regional Meet. The women will begin the day at 11 a.m. and the men will start at 12:15.

Women's basketball will be on the road Saturday against Salem State University at noon. After last year's 69-58 win the Seahawks moved to 2-1 all-time against the Vikings.

For the last contest of the 2023 regular season football will travel to Northfield, Vermont to go head to head against Norwich University at noon. Last week the Seahawks earned their seventh win of the year and their fifth NEWMAC victory. All of the scoring happened in the first half thanks to rushing touchdowns from Justan Luzzi and Thomas Cea Jr., Jake Stack's touchdown passes to Josh Letellier and Marcelino La Bella, and Garrett DeForest's 12-yard punt return. Salve Regina now has three shutouts in 2023.

Men's basketball hosts Johnson & Wales at 1 p.m. at the Rodgers Recreation Center on Saturday. Last year the Seahawks finished out the season 9-17 overall and 7-11 in-conference. The team has added seven freshmen to the roster this year, making a healthy mix of returners and newcomers. When the Seahawks and the Wildcats last met up in 2013, the Seahawks triumphed 73-68.

The final event of the day takes place in Middletown, Rhode Island at the St. George's School ice rink at 7 p.m. when men's ice hockey hosts Wentworth. Salve Regina is 11-17 all-time against Wentworth and won 4-3 in 2022.
