NEWPORT, R.I. - Four members of the Salve Regina University women's volleyball team have received end-of-season accolades from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

Samantha Higgins (Coventry, R.I.) rounded out the Seahawks award winners with a third team selection.

"I'm very excited to see that four girls from this years team made a statement in the CCC," said head coach Lauren Parsons. "Annie Donahue, Megan Parham, Cassidy Trablicy, and Sam Higgins have been key players all season for us.  I couldn't be more proud of the hard work and dedication they have put in to the season. These girls have a great team around them."

Donahue posted an impressive freshman campaign. In 86 sets played she totalled 214 kills for a .334 hitting percentage, while tallying 55 blocks. Donahue's hitting percentage ranked third in the CCC while her 55 blocks ranked seventh.
