Summary
The Salve Regina University women's volleyball team used solid net defense and capitalized on Corsair errors on Tuesday evening, outdoing UMass Dartmouth in a 3-0 non-conference victory at the Tripp Athletic Center.

Series and Streaks
The Corsairs still own a 10-7 advantage in the all-time series however the Seahawks have now won four in a row in the series and five of the last six dating back to 2011.

Three Stars of the Match
1 – Salve Regina junior Samantha Salwa (Ellington, Conn.) collected a match-high 24 assists and four service aces to go along with a team-high 12 digs.
2 – Salve Regina sophomore Cassidy Trablicy (Phoenix, Ariz.) produced a match-high eight kills, along with three aces, eight digs, and three assisted blocks.
3 – Salve Regina senior Kat Mendes (New Bedford, Mass.) recorded eight kills.

  • Salve Regina has now won three matches in a row, all 3-0 sweeps.
