Already trailing one set to none the Leopards found themselves down 6-0 to begin the second set. They responded however with seven straight points of their own to take a 7-6 lead. Wentworth managed to stay neck and neck with Salve Regina, leading 14-13 late in the set. Then the Seahawks won 11 of the next 13 points to blow open the set on their way to a 25-17 win and 2-0 set advantage.
