Series and Streaks
Salve Regina and Bridgewater State entered the contest with the all-time series tied at two wins apiece. The Seahawks now improve to 3-2 all-time over the Bears.

Three Stars of the Game
1 – Salve Regina freshman Cassidy Trablicy (Phoenix, Ariz.) tied for team lead with six kills on a .200 kill percentage, four blocks, four digs, and an assist.
2 – Salve Regina freshman Megan Parham (Tulsa, Okla.) had a match high 24 digs.
3 – Salve Regina sophomore Nora Donahue (Braintree, Mass.) had an efficient six kills on 10 swings to go along with three blocks.

Salve Regina recorded 12 services aces to the Bears four.

Turning Point
Trailing two sets to none the Bears led 17-15 in the third set. Salve Regina went on a 5-0 run to take the lead. The Bears tied the score at 21-21 and 22-22 but the Seahawks won the final three points of the set to take home a sweep.

  • This was the second meeting between Salve Regina and Bridgewater State this season. The Seahawks won three sets in a row to shock the Bears 3-2 back on September 12.
