"We have a good amount of players returning and a talented freshman class. Senior middle blocker Emily Lipinski will be the most experienced offensive player on the court for us along with junior Kat Mendes on the outside who was a rock for us during last year's semifinal game. Chrissy Fraga returns for us on the back row defending anything that comes her way. We have a young and talented team going into the 2015 season so it will be interesting to see who steps up."

Salve Regina opens its 2015 campaign with a non-league contest at Lesley University on Thursday, September 3 (8 p.m.).
