NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University junior Megan Clancy (Chelmsford, Mass.) was announced as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) libero of the week on Tuesday afternoon by commissioner Gregg Kaye.

Clancy helped lead the Seahawks to a perfect 3-0 record last week, including wins over Emerson College, Mass Maritime Academy, and Clark University. In the process, the junior libero and her teammates set a new program record for wins in a single season with 14.

Megan averaged an impressive 7.88 digs per set over two matches without committing a single reception error. She compiled 63 total digs over her two matches, including 28 in just three sets versus Emerson. She currently leads the conference with a season average of 5.69 digs per set.

Clancy and the Seahawks will host Connecticut College in a non-conference match this Saturday (7 p.m.) at the Rodgers Recreation Center.
