NEW ORLEANS, La. - Salve Regina University is among 148 women's track and field teams to earn the distinction of USTFCCA All-Academic Team as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher.

Fraga set a new school record in the 400 meter hurdles while Palmquist, competing in her first-ever 10,000 meter run, established a new school record in that event.

WATERVILLE, Maine - Salve Regina University freshmen Chrissy Fraga (Milford, Mass.) and Aubrey Palmquist (Bristol, Conn.) both set school records in their respective events while competing in the New England Women's Track and Field NCAA Division III Regionals hosted by Colby College over the weekend.

WENHAM, Mass. - First-place finishes in 10 events, along with depth in scoring at each event, propels Salve Regina University women's track and field to the championship of the 2013 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Invitational.

Tara Ruddy, Kelsey Knight, Erin McCarthy, and Chrissy Fraga combined to establish a new school record in the 400 meter relay.

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Salve Regina University women's track and field 4x100 meter relay group entered in the Silfen Invitational established a new school record with a mark of 51.65 seconds, breaking the previous mark of 51.84 set 28 years ago (4/27/1985).

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Salve Regina University student-athletes came out in full force last Saturday, April 13, to wrap up national Division III week as athletes from all of the university's teams not in competition volunteered at Special Olympics held at Gaudet Field in partnership with Special Olympics R.I., East Bay Games.

NO. DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Salve Regina freshman Chrissy Fraga (Milford, Mass.) finished ahead of the pack in the 400-meter hurdles at the Corsair Classic hosted by UMass Dartmouth, earning 10 points for the Seahawk women's track and field team.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - Freshmen Chrissy Fraga (Milford, Mass.) and Aubrey Palmquist (Bristol, Conn.) both had top finishes among Division III competition in the first women's track and field meet of the season, at Bridgewater State University.

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University women's track & field team has been announced as a recipient of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2012 Division III Track & Field Academic Team Award.
