PROVIDENCE, R.I. (October 13, 2019) - Salve Regina University freshman Casey Farrell (Cumberland, R.I.) walked onto the courts at Rhode Island College to face her No. 2 singles opponent from Johnson & Wales University after 17 matches combined between the men's and women's tennis programs from both schools. The Seahawk first-year player earned an 8-3 win for the only team point in an 8-1 setback to the Wildcats; Farrell now has a 6-1 overall record in singles (her only defeat came in retirement after winning her first set in her first match, ironically at home against Rhode Island College).

Salve Regina next plays at Endicott College on Wednesday, October 16, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships matchup of the No. 6 and No. 3 seeds. First serves scheduled for 2 p.m.
