Seahawks sweep Hawks, 9-0
LEICESTER, Mass. - The Becker College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to visiting Salve Regina University on Thursday afternoon at the Leicester Middle School Tennis Courts.
The Seahawks of Salve Regina improve to 2-4 on the season while Becker drops to 0-4.
Salve Regina swept the singles matches, not losing a single point. At number one doubles, Salve's Laura Krick and Erin Stangel outlasted Becker's Jacqueline Andrade and Victoria Puczydlowsk, 8-4.
Becker is back on the court on Monday when they play host to St. Joseph's College of Connecticut beginning at 3:30 p.m. Salve Regina travels to Wentworth on Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. contest.
