Walsh welcomes Bouchard, McBrier back to program
NEWPORT, R.I. (October 28, 2020) -- Salve Regina University women's soccer head coach Jane Walsh prepares for her program's Senior Day this weekend with experienced (former) players on her coaching staff - Class of 2018 Seahawks Courtney Bouchard (Newport, R.I.) and Morgan McBrier (North Kingstown, R.I.).
Bouchard and McBrier rejoin the Salve Regina women's soccer program as assistant coaches.
"Courtney and Morgan provide much needed energy, enthusiasm, and support for the program," says Walsh, in her sixth season as head coach and seventh overall with the Seahawks. "As alumni, they already have investment in helping the program succeed. Beyond their genuine love for Salve and the women's soccer program, Courtney and Morgan provide skill sets that match my needs for assistant coaches. The program will benefit tremendously from a knowledgeable and invested coaching staff, especially during COVID – I believe that's what we get with Courtney and Morgan."
The team will recognize its seniors on Saturday, October 31, during a smal, safe gathering at Reynolds Field - Molly Breslin (Rockaway Park, N.Y.), Carah Cote (Adams, Mass.), Devyn DeFalco (Brockton, Mass.), Margaret Hanley (Pembroke, Mass.), Meaghan and Mia Papiro (Glen Head, N.Y.).
