Three Stars of the Game

  1. Salve Regina sophomore Jamie Robert (Holyoke, Mass.) scored her first two goals of the season. Her first came on a carry up the right side and a long right-leg kick from 18 yards out. An insurance tally came on a header following a cross from senior teammate Abby McMackin (Walpole, Mass.).
  2. Rhode Island College senior Brittany DeGrooth (Westerly, R.I.) scored her fourth goal of the season in the 50th minute to give the Anchorwomen a 1-0 lead. A great run from Brooke Young (West Warwick, R.I.) set up the game's first goal.
  3. Salve Regina senior Abby McMackin (Walpole, Mass.) assisted on the Seahawk insurance goal while equaling DeGrooth's shot total (six), including three on goal.

Turning Point
Junior Katie Szemreylo (Marlborough, Conn.) got a free kick in front of her bench from 40 yards out and got the ball in the back of the net to tie the score at 1-1 in the 55th minute.

Key Stat of the Game
