BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott sophomore Sharlotte Pernice (West Springfield, Mass.)netted her fourth career game-winning goal in the 87th minute to lift the Gulls over Salve Regina, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

Prior to today's game, Endicott women's soccer seniors Casey Mellen (Litchfield, N.H.) and Nicole Taylor (North Easton, Mass.) were honored for their contributions towards the program.

Pernice also extended Endicott's unbeaten streak to four straight games (3-0-1) when she drilled home her sixth goal of the season off a free kick that was partially deflected by Salve Regina's goalkeeper before it went into the upper 90.

Besides Pernice's heroics, the Gulls' midfielders and back line stood out in the win as the defensive unit only allowed three shots total, and only one on net which Caroline Armbruster (Stowe, Vt.) turned away for her fourth clean sheet of the season.
