Three different players scored for the Salve Regina University women's soccer team in a 3-1 victory over visiting Rhode Island College on a rainy and windy afternoon at Reynolds Field.

1 – Salve Regina junior Francesca Galeazzi (Lynn, Mass.) - scored on a header off a corner kick to give the Seahawks the final 3-1 margin.
2 – Salve Regina junior Lea Adams (Sandwich, Mass.) - scored what was eventually the deciding goal at 18:00.
3 – Rhode Island Col. sophomore Eleni Grammas (Cranston, R.I.) - scored at 63:42 to cut the Seahawks lead in half.
Turning Point
The Seahawks led 2-0 most of the match until Grammas' goal gave the Anchorwomen momentum with plenty of time remaining. Rhode Island College threatened to tie the game a few times but timely saves from Carly Pala (Milford, Conn.) kept the Anchorwomen at bay. Then Francesca Galeazzi headed in a corner kick from Erica Manchester (Wakefield, R.I.) to reestablish a two goal lead for the Seahawks, and swing momentum back in favor of the Seahawks.
