BEVERLY, Mass. – Senior midfielder Ashley Mueskes (Georgetown, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal as the No. 4 seeded Endicott women's soccer team shut out No. 5 seeded Salve Regina in Commonwealth Coast Conference Quarterfinal action Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

With the win, the Gulls (9-7-2) avenged a 1-0 road loss to Salve Regina (9-9-1) on October 24 earlier this season to advance to the CCC Semifinals in search of their tenth CCC Title and sixth under current head coach Jodi Kenyon, whose team last hoisted the Championship trophy in 2013.

Mueskes took a one-touch pass from freshman midfielder Alexandra Burgess (Hebron, Conn.) and deposited the ball in the back right of the net in the 8th minute to sound the horn for the Gulls and provided all the offense necessary on the day.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Armbruster (Stowe, Vt.) made two saves as she picked up her eighth win of the season in goal (8-3-2).
Mueskes registered her team-leading seventh goal (career-high) of the season and had six of the team's 16 shots on the day.
Burgess recorded her second assist of the season.

FOR THE FOES
Sophomore midfielder/forward Lea Adams (Sandwich, Mass.) took all three of the Seahawks' shots in the match.
Freshman goalkeeper Carly Pala (Milford, Conn.) made four stops in goal as she suffered her seventh loss of the season (6-7-0).
Sophomore goalkeeper Morgan McBrier (North Kingston, R.I.) split time in goal as she played the second half and made two saves.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Gulls will face No. 1 seeded Roger Williams University on Wednesday, November 4 on the road at a time to be determined. Salve Regina sees its season come to a close.
