Newport, R.I. - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) announced its 2014 Division III Academic Honor Squads and Salve Regina was among five Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) schools to receive the honor.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 38 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2013-14 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team, announced Wednesday, June 4 by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The inaugural 2013-14 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's All-Sports Trophy went to Endicott College while Salve Regina University finished fourth.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its all-league women's lacrosse team today and two Salve Regina University players were voted to the squad - seniors Grace Kelly (Auburn, N.Y.) and Kayla Sheehan (Pomfret, Conn.).

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Salve Regina University women's lacrosse (5-11) ended its season on a winning note, 17-4 over visiting Wheelock College, led by a quartet of seniors - Grace Kelly (Auburn, N.Y.), Karley Malenczak (Sayville, N.Y.), Josephine O'Reilly (Middletown, R.I.), and Kayla Sheehan (Pomfret, Conn.) - in non-league action at Gaudet Field.

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Karley Malenczak (Sayville, N.Y.) scored five goals and assisted on two others and sophomore Abagail Tepper (Foxboro, Mass.) had four goals and five assists as the Salve Regina University women's lacrosse team snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 16-10 win over Wentworth in Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse action on Sweeney Field.

DUDLEY, Mass. - Junior Gina Tortorici (Deer Park, N.Y.) registered a hat trick for the Seahawks (3-10, 0-6 CCC), who also received pair of goals seniors Grace Kelly (Auburn, N.Y.) and Karley Malenczak (Sayville, N.Y.).

MILTON, Mass. – In a Commonwealth Coast match-up on Thursday afternoon, Curry College defeated visiting Salve Regina, 15-3, in women's lacrosse action in Milton, Mass. With the win, the Colonels even out their overall record to 5-5 and improve to 1-2 in the conference. The Seahawks fell to 3-8 overall and 0-4 in the CCC.

Hawks win battle of birds against Seahawks

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women’s lacrosse team stifled Salve Regina in a convincing 15-3 victory. The Hawks improve to 4-6 overall and 2-2 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference and the Seahawks drop to 3-7 and 0-3 in the CCC.

The Seahawks will help raise funds this week and during their game on Saturday for the Police Unity Tour in support of Officers Chad Souza and Jean Young of the Middletown Police Department.
