Pecci graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 with a degree English. She played four years for the Rams where she was and outstanding goaltender and leader as captain for two seasons. Pecci's athletic talent between the pipes earned her three ACHA All American honors and two MVP honors.

"Pecci's leadership characteristics, communication skills combined with her passion and commitment will be a vital component of our success this season," remarked McCann. "I am eager to start the season with Rambo and Pecci as part of our coaching staff. As we enter our first season together as a committed unified coaching team we have began to define, create and advocate our team culture. We have defined our goals as a team and look forward to the start of the season to mentor and inspire our student athletes."
